So just got back from another "mini" vacation. Took us 6 long hours to get to our destination when it usually takes 3.5 to 4 hours. But...I got plenty of work done pertaining to our new school year. I made out weekly schedules for 4 children (by hand)and now it needs to go into this homeschool organization software I use called Home School Tracker. This is an awesome product. Okay...so this is my first blog after signing and setting up blogger on my website. Took longer than I would have liked.
I have been doing research for the next school year. My oldest daughter graduated from our homeschool and it really feels strange not planning what she will be doing for the next year.
My youngest son will be starting kindergarten and I have been trying to find a CM based curriculum for him to use. Checked out Ambleside Online and they had some interesting pointers...one being to read CM's thoughts on the subject :-) Thankfully there was also a link for someone who posted her CM kindergarten plans on their website Shining Time Academy I am so glad I found this site and I will probably bring her plans into the mix of what we will do along with maybe Five In A Row. But we'll see. Which brings me to why I decided to start blogging again. This lady has a great blog and it inspired me Shining Time Academy Blog. So this is where I am. I hope I can keep blogging. Feels kinda good.
