Finally...
Finally got my curriculum laid out for my kindergartner. You would think that after homeschooling 4 other children this would be easy...but it wasn't. I was having trouble with deciding how to proceed. He likes workbooks so I decided to use the BJUP Beginnings program (as I did with at least 2 of my other children) but something just wasn't clicking. I guess it was just too canned. I will still use what I can from that program but I am going to "Charlotte Masonize" it :-) I got the schedule from Shining Time Academy's website, merged in information from Parkview Christian School's kindergarten program, then sprinkled in "A Formidable List of Attainments for a Child of Six" curriculum outline from Charlotte Mason and added a dab of Diane Lopez'reccomendations. I really wish I could write my own curriculum because after all these years I am never satisfied and wind up making my own recipe. The only curriculum that comes really, really close is Heart of Wisdom, but they only have history and science units. :-)
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I will use Five In A Row on the last week of every month.
